WHAT'S HAPPENING??

1. The Middle Team Enviro Action Day has a 'Kiwi' theme.

2. We will work in our class gardens. Any extra parent helpers would be appreciated between 9.30 & 10.30am. Don't forget your gardening gear!

3. We will be having special guests coming to talk to us about kiwis.

4. We are having a Bring & Buy Kiwi fundraiser - everyone is invited to bring unwanted toys/games & books for someone else to buy for $1. If you do not have any unwanted things you could bring a money donation instead.

5. We are having a special Kiwi themed fundraiser performance in the school hall at 2pm for families - gold coin entry.

Each class will be performing a kiwi themed item for your entertainment.

ALL money raised will be donated to the Kiwis for Kiwi Trust. 

Our Cute Visitor

We are so lucky to have fur visitors to our class on the odd occasion. Today is was 5 week old Frankie. He was abandoned by his mother and has to wear the cutest little knitted jersey to keep warm as he is no longer with his mum or siblings.

Lisa and Jamie will teach Frankie to socialise with other people and dogs. Basic commands like sit and say. He will be up for adoption when he is 14 weeks old.

Sam couldn't bring in his cat Jess so he made a video to show us of his furry buddy!

Beautiful Bindi

This morning we had another special furry visitor to Room D. Jamie and his mum bought their foster dog Bindi into school. Bindi is an 8 week old terrior cross puppy. She sleeps in a cage in Jamie's mums room at night and is very playful. Jamie and his mum foster puppies for an organisation called Haven Animal Shelter, they look after and give the puppies love until they can be given to their forever homes.
Bindi was tired after all her meeting and greeting so she curled up on our laps to sleep, super cute!!!

Shadows visit to Room D

Last Friday Room D had a very special visitor. It was Olivia's kitten Shadow. Shadow is 11 weeks old, she eats cat food and sleeps in a cat bed. Olivia told us that Shadow was abandoned outside her mums work so her family decided to adopt her.

We really enjoyed meeting Shadow and getting to pat her too.
