Music Madness

On Tuesday our class worked with Mrs. Beckers. She taught us some notes on the glockenspiel. We had a blast!!

ANZAC Study

Yesterday our class walked to the town square to visit the cenotaph. It was interesting to read the names of those who died and see the crosses. Some children in Room M will be participating in or attending the dawn parade on Saturday 25th of April.
We have been learning about ANZAC and poppies for the 100 year commemoration. It has been an interesting and tasty experience.

Week 1 & 2 Term 2 Reminders

Week 1 No spelling homework this week as we are retesting to find out which new spelling level each child will be in for term 2!

Week 2 No swim For Life this week due to ANZAC day, we will have a catch up day later in the term.
Spelling, maths homework and reading resume this week as normal.

WOOHOOO We have Moved!!

We were so amazing and moved everything in two days!!

SWIM FOR LIFE Term 2 Mondays

Swim for Life starts for Room M on the first day of Term 2. We will be doing 10 30min session, our time is 11.30am each Monday.

Haerenga Ora Fitness Track Opening 2015


M.S.S is incredibly lucky to have had an amazing fitness track built during the last holidays. It is a sealed track that we will be able to ride our scooters on once the road markings have been put on. 
The fitness track is called Haerenga Ora ( journey of health).
